AGREEMENT OF SERVICES

World-Wide Voluntary Force Foundation takes responsibility for making arrangements and providing the necessary facilities so that you can carry out voluntary work in Quito-Ecuador and the area of your choice at Camp Hope, cooperating with the community through sharing and learning from Ecuadorians.

In return, you are committed to offering your time as a volunteer, giving of the best of your abilities, and to accepting the World-Wide Voluntary Force Foundation's policies and procedures.

You will need a current valid passport, if you do not have one then you need to order this immediately .

BEAR IN MIND THE PROGRAM PAYMENT POLICIES

There is a $250 non-refundable deposit, which covers the application fee and is included in the total cost of the program. This must be sent at the same time as your application form. The rest must be paid at least 30 days before your arrival date in the place of service.

If for any reason the World-Wide Voluntary Force receives this payment later than 30 days before this date, you will be charged an additional $20, in other words you should pay the application fee, plus an extra $20 USD and you can pay the total cost of the program at the latest 15 days before the program starts.

What does the cost of the vacation and volunteering program include? The program costs include the following: food, accommodation, transportation while on the program to go to the project site, local Team Leader, project materials and, program coordination. All administrative costs are covered by the price of the service except for those which are incurred in your free time, as you are responsible for what you spend in your free time or on other activities which don't form part of the World-Wide Voluntary Force program.

World-Wide Voluntary Force does not take responsibility for acts or errors of any kind caused by persons or entities that provide any given service to our voluntary program.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM PRICE?

Airfare, visa costs, what you spend in your free time, alcoholic drinks, medical and travel insurance.

The cost of cancelling or transferring dates of the program are not covered by the program cost.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND

The cancellation or transfer of the date of the program is possible, but you should consider the following things before doing so:

1. Cancellations and transfers are expensive for the World-Wide Voluntary Force Foundation, as we arrange the service immediately after receiving your application; for this reason we will charge you the costs relating to the arrangements that have already been made.

2. Before applying, it is always better to wait until you are completely sure that you have chosen the date that best suits you, in this way later inconveniences can be avoided.

3. The 250 USD application fee is non-refundable but it can be transferred to another program with a charge of 20 USD. In other words, 230 USD may be transferred to another program, which must begin within 12 months of the start date of the program you originally applied for. This transfer is subject to availability of the program of your choice. This transfer can be done only until 15 days before the program start.

4. In all cases, your decision to cancel or transfer dates on a program must be notified in writing.

5. World-Wide Voluntary Force Foundation may cancel any service program at any time.

6. World-Wide Voluntary Force Foundation can also reject an application at any time before departure.

7. World-Wide Voluntary Force Foundation will not give refunds for unexpected circumstances or due to your inability to take part in the program itinerary. World-Wide Voluntary Force Foundation willl return the full payment value if the service program of your choice is full when you apply. If World-Wide Voluntary Force Foundation doesn't accept your application for any reason, or if the service program should be cancelled for any reason other than because World-Wide Voluntary Force Foundation considers it dangerous to travel to Quito-Ecuador.

8. Partial refunds depend on when you cancel the program, for which you should consult the following table. The sooner you cancel your place on program the bigger the percentage we can refund to you.

Cancellation policy based on cancellation date:

The $250 deposit from application will not be refunded in any case.

More than 60 days prior to departure: 100% of the remaining cost will be refunded

Between 60 and 30 days: 55% of the remaining cost will be refunded

Less than 30 days: 25 % of the remaining cost will be refunded

9. If the service program is cancelled due to a warning from World-Wide Voluntary Force Foundation about a possible danger in relation to Qito-Ecuador to where you are travelling, you can carry out a transfer to a program in another date, subject to availability.

YOU PARTICIPATE AT YOUR OWN RISK

You are aware that there can be dangers wherever you live or travel to, you agree to take complete responsibility for any personal injury, offence or damage to your property.

YOU AGREE NOT TO SUE WORLD-WIDE VOLUNTARY FORCE

You will not sue World-Wide Voluntary Force, if during the service program you suffer personal injury, offence or damage to your property due to negligence by World-Wide Voluntary Force or due to the negligence or unintentional acts of any other person.

If any member of your family sues World-Wide Voluntary Force for these reasons, you must repay all the costs and expenditures incurred by the judicial process, including the lawyer's pay.

You can sue World-Wide Voluntary Force for deliberate acts, misconduct or grave negligence.

YOU AGREE TO FOLLOW THE RULES, REGULATIONS AND LAWS

All volunteers must arrive at the airport indicated, on the arrival date arranged for the service program. You will be met at airport by a person that is working for our organization.

You will also be very well received by World-Wide Voluntary Force's subsidiary organization.

You agree to follow all the relevant World-Wide Voluntary Force rules, policies and norms and those of the subsidiary organization , the laws of the country and the community.

If in any case you fail to keep the rules, laws, policies and norms, the World-Wide Voluntary Force, Ecuador or the subsidiary organization, the team leader has authority to ask you to leave the community. In this case, you agree to leave the community immediately.

If you had been asked by the Team Leader to leave the community, you can not remain in the country under the cover umbrella of World-Wide Voluntary Force or Camp Hope. So you agree that our organization notify the Ecuadorian goverment migration department about your personal situation.
