Child Care

If you have a heart for children you can help them by carrying out recreational and educational activities, assist them with their daily meals and general care. Also, support the teachers and create games and activities to use in teaching the english language.

You can use your skills through helping in music class, arts, sports, dance,etc.

Working at Camp Hope with children is a lot of fun and a very rewarding and relaxing experience since the children love to have volunteers around and enjoy the extra attention that they can get from the volunteers.

No experience is requiered for this volunteer activity and you do not have to speak Spanish to communicate with the children or the staff people. They have a great deal of experience having volunteers around and in developing ways of communication when speaking diferent languages seems to be a barrier. They make this an opportunity for learning from each other.
