Teaching a language

All volunteers who are interested in teaching can get involved in this area! You do not have to be a profesional teacher, only to have the desire to do it.

This project is very interesting because languages open doors for children's and young people's development, and gives them a very useful tool to improve their future job prospects. It provides them with the possibility of working as native guides, although they may not have completed studies in any other areas.

Camp Hope is very focus in conversational english which give to the children and staff the opportunity to interact with our volunteers and loose fear to speak another language. So if you speaks english and have creativity you can be a great ESL teacher here.

This program allows you to give ELS of one on one, maximun you can have three students at the same time if they are in the same level. But Camp Hope´s prefer to have a one on one class.

If you want to get involved for longer you can opt to become a language teacher.

Language Teachers

You can be part of a group of foreign teachers and give classes in your native language to a class of 5 or more students. In order to do this you need to stay at least 3 months. Teaching experience is not essential but would be of help.
